Earn the verified badge
The verified badge is voluntary. It tells buyers that you passed identity verification and that a Sampo team member has seen where you work.
Step 1: Identity verification.Open your dashboard, go to Verification, and start the identity check. You'll need a government-issued ID. Sampo never sees your ID.
Step 2: Evidence photos. Once your identity check passes, upload 1 to 6 photos of your workspace, materials, or tools. JPEG, PNG, or WEBP. Max 10 MB each.
A Sampo team member reviews your photos within 3 business days. If approved, the badge appears on your shop and all your product pages. If not approved, you'll receive a reason and can re-submit.
The badge does not affect your search ranking. Verified and unverified shops are discovered on exactly the same terms.
Listing rules
Every item must trace to the person who listed it.
Dropship detection runs at the database level. Listings that fail are removed, not warned.
You may have up to 500 units of inventory per listing.
Listings must include accurate photos, dimensions, and materials where applicable.
Transaction fees
Fees apply to order subtotals. Tier is based on trailing 6-month GMV, evaluated monthly.
Upgrades take effect immediately when a threshold is crossed. If trailing 6-month GMV drops below the current tier's threshold, the tier drops at the next monthly evaluation. GMV = order subtotals only. The buyer platform fee is never counted toward your GMV.

Membership
Membership is a monthly flat fee for platform access. The tier matches your transaction fee tier. The same GMV thresholds apply.
Membership tier never affects search ranking, browse ordering, or product visibility. All tiers list and are discovered equally.

Founding offer: First 6 months free. Annual prepay: 2 months free.
Grace period: 7 days after a lapse. After 7 days, the shop suspends.
Suspended shop: Listings are hidden. Cart adds are blocked.
Featured placement
Featured placement puts your shop in a labeled slot on the homepage or a category page. Buyers see it marked as placement.
Homepage: 3 slots. $49 per week or $169 per month. Category pages: 1 slot per category. $29 per week or $99 per month.
Placement does not affect your organic search ranking or browse position. Rankings are not for sale.
Reserve a slot from your dashboard. If all slots are taken, waitlist is coming.
Premium analytics
Standard analytics are included at no cost. Views, orders, and revenue are always available.
Premium analytics adds search terms buyers used to find your work, buyer geography, conversion rates, and 90-day revenue cadence.

Custom shop domain
Your shop can run on a domain you own. Not available yet.
Getting paid
Payouts run on your schedule.
Sampo takes the transaction fee from each order automatically. You keep the order subtotal minus your transaction fee at your current tier.
The buyer platform fee is 0.5% of the order subtotal. It is paid by the buyer and shown as a separate labeled line item at checkout. It never touches your earnings.

Suspension
A shop can be suspended for any of the following:
- Membership lapse over 7 days
- Dropship violation
- Violation of listing rules
A suspended shop has its listings hidden and cart adds blocked. Reinstatement requires resolving the cause.
